Keynsham Local Group are affiliated to Avon Wildlife Trust
and hold evening meetings and organise field trips throughout the year, raising funds for the Trust.
Our monthly meetings comprise talks on interesting wildlife and conservation topics by a variety of speakers. Meetings are generally held in the Keynsham Baptist Church Hall on the second Friday of every month from October to April.
Our programme of field trips takes in local reserves and nature areas as well as trips further afield, to places such as RSPB Ham Wall, or Slimbridge.

Fund raising takes the form of sales of second hand books, bird food, greetings cards and various handmade items at our meetings plus donations for our field trips. We also occasionally organise fund raising talks, featuring prominent speakers, at The Space in Keynsham.

Keynsham Group is organised by a committee comprising chair, vice chair, treasurer, secretary, field trips officer and minutes secretary.
Membership is not required for the Group, and everyone is welcome at any of our events.
However we encourage participants in our activities to subscribe to Avon Wildlife Trust.
